Things in the comics, such as the murder of the Gaur of The Globe, The Machine Head fight, and Omni-Man vs Invincible, are far less violent in gory in the comics than in the show. Why?
The creator wanted to change some things and the change came with the adaptation to an animation, so he pretty much just choosed some differences that in his pov would look better both in action, drama and flow, thats why some things are faster and/or slower and in different orders/have slightly different characters
Animation can better express violence compared to comic images. The Conquest fight in the comics was violent, but an animated version of it can make it even more violent.
