Without reading the article (I’m feeling a bit lazy this early morning 4:30 AM) I will go with my cheap opinion on the matter:

Any character is worth bringing back if there’s a good story behind it. If everything about the character has been said and done, there is still room for interesting stories. Even if these require a variation on the character, their origin story, etc. as long as the essence (a hard thing to define) is kept throughout. I typically dislike when a character evolves and grows, just for the next writer to bring them back to their original status quo. But that doesn’t mean that it can’t be done right.

So IMO, if the story is good, then the character can be brought back for another round. Not just for nostalgia or a thought experiment.

I always have a hard time narrowing down my favorite 'anything'. But I definitely like Mad Man, Spawn, Grifter (if he's still considered an Image character). The same applies to Caitlin Fairchild and Grunge from Gen 13.

BTW: the last we knew about @Lagvaldemag is that he is taking a two month break from wikis and most of social media. That was about week ago. So it may take probably 7~8 more weeks before he comes back in full

I only read the first issue. I haven’t formed an opinion yet. But I haven’t been discouraged by it. It is good so far. But too little has happened in it for me to be hooked yet.

Now that you mentioned it, I remember those panels from back in the day. I saw them in an article from Wizard Magazine about it.

@Dr. Swamp Thing @Daredevil00 Okay, I bought issue 1 and read both. There are strong hints of heroes from DC and Marvel in it. Although obscured by shadows and showing partial parts of their physique and costumes, definitely you can recognize them. Many more DC and Marvel characters will pop up according to my LCS. And not as just analogs to them but the real deal. Are you guys aware of this? Are you guys interested in this kind of event?
