I think it’s a fun book
I’ve watched the first two episodes! Awesome! I just ordered the first Compendium!
I read a lot of what comes out from Image, but Radiant Black is not one of them. Spawn is a great superhero comic that is still coming out. There’s gonna be a great jumping in point this summer
with Spawn Universe 1, so keep your eyes out!
I’ve been reading it so far and I’m having a good time with it. My favorite part so far was in issue 2 with the homage to Spawn #10 with all of the heroes having their arms stick out of their jail and bars. I think the story has a lot of meat on the bone with plenty of drive to make it last for a very long time.
I don’t know how many of you read Image monthly, but in your opinion, would do you think is the best new Image series that started this year?
If I had to choose, I believe the Department of Truth blew away all the completion. It was fun, creepy, and unique, and I really dig conspiracy theories so this is a plus for me too.
I haven’t read Saga or Invincible, but I plan on getting the Saga compendium for the holidays hopefully.
Gideon Falls is about two people in a place called Gideon Falls and they keeping getting dreams and visions about this Black Barn and the smiling man. It’s really creepy. One of them, Norton, is trying to investigate the Barn and a bunch of people come after him. It’s like a horror, conspiracy theory, action romp with wonderful art by Andrea Sorrentino. I believe the first trade is only $10 so it’s definitely worth the checkout.

Id also suggest Gideon Falls, one of the best books on the shelf right now.
East of West is another phenomenal series that has a lot of rich world building, dynamic art, and a weird sci fi bliss

He just feels like another Spawn character to me. I believe I’ve read the first volume awhile back. Don’t get me wrong, it was a good story, but I wasn’t blown away or anything. But Haunt was pretty cool. So I’d say give it a try if you can find any copies
