I've only read a certain amount of Vol 1, but I know that Vol 1 includes the first three miniseries arcs (11 issues in total), then picks up the numbering with Shadowhawk #12-18. I know that the 2005 series is considered Vol 2 and the 2010 series counts as vol 3. But I see no mention of the seven issue "The New ShadowHawk", whose first issue published just one month after Vol 1, #18.

Considering there's no break between publication from one series to the next, one could assume it's still part of Vol 1, but this miniseries/arc isn't on Vol. 1's listing at all, AND it ditches #12-18's retroactive numbering for a new #1-7.

So either it's a complete anomaly that exists between volumes because the title is different, or it's part of Vol 1, but has yet to be acknowledged as such, or really even acknowledged at all. Can someone help me figure this out?

I would assume it is because Image is not a mega-multimedia entity as Marvel and DC are, and have a much higher ratio of lone-universe miniseries to ongoing connected-universe titles than the big two. As a result, there's less incentive for the average person (who may only follow one series they like) to contribute the the wiki on a grand scale, that is if they've even heard of Image. Image's greatest strength, creator ownership over massive corporate profits, can sometimes also be a weakness. But I wouldn't want it any other way. 🥰
