While on trip returning to college in Atlanta, Amy and her sister, Andrea, were stranded on the road when the zombie outbreak began. They were rescued by Dale, who was driving on his RV, and they soon found the survivor camp in the outskirts of Atlanta. She and Andrea lived inside RV keeping Dale company, something Donna, being the conservative of the group, disproved. Despite the gloomy atmosphere they lived due to the apocalypse, she made her best to keep a joyful personality, lightening the mood of the entire group.
Unfortunately, a sudden swarm of zombies surprised the group one night, and Amy was the first victim of that attack, being bitten on the neck. Andrea stood by her until her last breath, and she was the one to shoot her in the head to prevent the reanimation.[1] Amy's corpse was buried in the camp before the group moved to another safer location.[2]
