History
Benito Santini is a member of the Black Razors. When the Razors were sent by John Lynch after the WildC.A.T.s, Santini caught Voodoo, but Jacob Marlowe shot him in the kree, shattering it. Marlowe kept the other Black Razors at bay by threatening with blowing Santini's brains out, but Lynch arrived and stoped the skirmish.[1]
After Lynch left International Operations, Santini was named the man in charge of the Black Razors, with an artificially restored knee. When the Black Razors found out that Daemonite Mr. White had replaced one of the WildC.A.T.s[2], Santini sent the Razors to fight the C.A.T.s until they could find errors in the movement patterns or fighting techniques of any of them, to find out which one was the imposter. Santini was ordered to remain out of the action and only supervise the Razors, but when he found out that Mr. White was supplanting Maul and was unable to communicate, he went into the battle and ordered a tactic to clear the field and allow him to reach White and shoot him down. After the battle, Santini told Marlowe that the next chance, he would kill him for shattering his knee.[3]Trivia
While Santini's first appeared in WildC.A.T.s: Covert Action Teams #2 by Jim Lee and Brandon Choi, his unarmored looks and his personality were defined by James Robinson and Travis Charest in WildC.A.T.s: Covert Action Teams #15.
