Synopsis for "National Guardians"

Savage Dragon was returned to 1997 Chicago by the time bomb. Unfortunately, when he went to his police station, they did not recognize him and summoned the National Guardians, consisting of Ultiman and the Beacon. Ultiman did not remember his encounters with Savage Dragon in the past and attacked him. The battle ended when Ultiman dropped Savage Dragon from a roof, only for the latter to be teleported away by the time bomb.

Synopsis for "Ultiman"

Savage Dragon was taken back to 1997 Chicago by the time bomb. He entered the police station, which concerned the officers, as he was wearing a bomb and they did not know who he was. They summoned the National Guardians, consiting of Ultiman and the Beacon. Ultiman recognized Savage Dragon and claimed that he had been waiting fifty-nine years to attack him. The two heroes continued to fight until Ultiman took Savage Dragon to a rooftop and the latter jumped off, shortly before the time bomb exploded.

Synopsis for "Venus"

Savage Dragon found himself in 1952 Korea. He was hit by another explosive, recovered by the U.S. military, and sent to the sickbay, where he had encountered Venus. Savage Dragon briefed her on his situation and she told him how he could find Dr. Binana in 1946. Then, she took him outside, where the bomb exploded and sent him back into the time stream.

Synopsis for "Thunder Girl"

In 1944, Molly Wilson realized that she had been trapped by Dr. Binana at a beauty salon. Savage Dragon intervened, confronting Dr. Binana, and freeing Molly from the trap. Dr. Binana agreed to help Savage Dragon return to his home, with a device, but deactivated it, before the time bomb exploded again.

Synopsis for "The Blitz"

Savage Dragon traveled through the time stream and found himself split into two and on both Earth-A and Earth-B. On Earth-A, Jimmy Travis and Marty Eastman prepared to attend the wedding of Mack Snelling on Earth-B. The two wore their superhero outfits over their formal wear and ran for Earth-B, however they realized that something was blocking the gap between the dimensions: Savage Dragon. On Earth-B, the Blitz and the Beacon found the other half of Savage Dragon. The time bomb caused Savage Dragon to disappear, allowing the Blitz to travel to Earth-A, where he met the Earth-A Blitz and Cyclone. After realizing that Savage Dragon had disappeared, the three heroes made their way to Mack's wedding.

Synopsis for "Agents of B.A.D.G.E."

In the time stream, Savage Dragon saw that a mysterious figure had set off the bomb. He found himself in 1965, at the B.A.D.G.E. headquarters, which alerted them. Rick and Bobby confronted and fought Savage Dragon, believing that he was attempting to steal the Infinity Orb. Savage Dragon attempted to escape with the time bomb, but was stopped by the Badge. They saw a mysterious figure escape with the Infinity Orb and followed him into the time stream.

Synopsis for "The Badge"

Savage Dragon and the Badge found themselves at the end of time. The former saw the time bomb disintegrate and learned that "the Badge" was actually a robot. He was captured by the mysterious being and his companion Oblivia. After releasing him, the being introduced himself as the Time Being and questioned him on how he had arrived. The Time Being claimed that the time bomb had weakened the time stream and offered to send him home through a time tunnel. Then, he stumbled upon a room full of Ultimen.

An earlier, alternate version of the "Agents of B.A.D.G.E." story was later included as a back-up in Big Bang Comics #22.

Trivia

  • The ninth panel in "National Guard" appears to be a homage to Action Comics #1.
