Synopsis for "Murder By Microphone"
After taking control of the thieves' getaway car, Shadow Lady swerved into a ravine in order to avoid a truck. The car crashed and she attempted to pull a thief out from the car due to a gas leak. Shadow Lady woke up and realized that she fell asleep with the radio on.
At the WXKZ radio station, a comedian named Feeble McDweeb was killed by objects that fell from a closet. At a laboratory at the edge of town, Professor Aloysius Prescott was working on the Inviso-Ray with his daughter Veronica and assistant Hank. However, the results had disappointed the professor. Veronica and Hank proposed conducting an experiment at Mount Mallowmar, where Venus would be seen.
Shadow Lady overheard the comedy duo Tubbin's and Nubbin's on her radio, while reading a newspaper article about McDweeb's death. Suddenly, she learned that Tubbin's had died while laughing. Hank attempted to ask Shadow Lady out on a date, but she declared that visiting the radio station was more important.
At Station WXKZ, the owner Mister Fabbersham rejected an offer of singer Sophie Schotek von Schotkova being featured on his station. Mister Fabbersham entered his office, where Shadow Lady was waiting.

When Zhantika arrived at the signpost, she sent the elephant away, then used her mystic knife to see through the eyes of a leopard. Through the leopard's eyes, she saw the two poachers at an elephant graveyard about to unknowingly free the tomb's prisoner.
She rushed to try to stop them, but was unsuccessful, as Craddock moved the elephant tusks that kept the prisoner locked. The prisoner emerged and Zhantika was able to wound him with her dagger before returning the tusks to their original place to reseal the prisoner.
Afterwards, Zhantika drove off in the poachers' jeep with them as her prisoners.

At a museum, a woman named Joan became possessed by Medusa after putting on the Gorgon's Eye. The police summoned Venus and briefed her on the situation.

The three split up and Medusa turned her companion Thomas into stone. When Venus encountered Medusa, her second companion grabbed the latter from behind and took the Gorgon's Eye.
In order to reverse the Gorgon's Spell, Venus traveled to the Homeland of the Gods, where she fought the chimera and acquired the sacred berries of the juniper.
