Synopsis for "Peril On Parallel Planets!"

During a quiet night of sentry duty, Hummingbird and Robo-Hood were at the R.T.A.'s table when an injured Jon Cosmos appeared in front of them, causing an explosion. Jon Cosmos asked the two heroes to summon the R.T.A., which Robo-Hood did. Ultiman, Knight Watchman, The Blitz, The Beacon, Mr. Martian, and Ms. Merlin answered the call, but Venus and the Sphinx were pre-occupied. Ultiman was reunited with Jon Cosmos, as they had already met. Jon Cosmos briefed the R.T.A. on Planet Omega, the tenth planet of their Solar System, which was invisible from Earth, and the Gas Giants' attack on the planet. Knight Watchman instructed Ms. Merlin to stay behind while he and the rest of the team went to Planet Omega with their visitor.

Upon Jon Cosmos' arrival with the R.T.A., he introduced them to Emperor Tolen, who briefed them on the Gas Giants raiding their most vital facilities. Jon Cosmos revealed that he married Tolen's sister Princess Odyri and that the Gas Giants turned her into gas. The Blitz and Hummingbird went to the Crystal Canyon, where they fought a Gas Giant that wore a suit of armor that Hummingbird deduced was emitting some kind of energy and holding its body together. After the Gas Giant nearly killed Hummingbird, the Blitz raced back with him to the Royal Palace. Mr. Martian flew with Knight Watchman before coming upon a spaceship with technology more advanced than Planet Omega, where the Martian recognized its owner, who shot the human superhero. Ultiman and The Beacon flew into the Emerald Sea and encountered a Gas Giant at the Kelp Farm and saw him wearing a suit of armor. The Gas Giant turned Ultiman into gas, so the Beacon used her crystal to rush him back to the lab. Jon Cosmos and Robo-Hood fought a third Gas Giant in the Suspended City and defeated it, causing it to break up.

The two heroes returned to the Royal Palace and learned that Ultiman and Hummingbird had both been turned to gas like Princess Odyri. As Jon Cosmos began to lose hope, the palace received a signal. Onboard the starship Eclipse, Mr. Martian recognized its owner Black Corona, who offered to let him join before his planned destruction of the Solar System. Then, Black Corona realized that Mr. Martian sent a signal from his ship to the palace. The Beacon, Robo-Hood, Jon Cosmos, and The Blitz rushed towards the Eclipse with the sole female member sealing off the ship's energy transmitter, the Fastest Man on Earth tearing apart the ship, and the other two members confronted its owner while Knight Watchman cut off the power and sent him back to deep space without his equipment.

Afterwards, the R.T.A. learned that the Gas Giants lived in Jupiter in peace before Corona enslaved them and forced them to wear their armor. The Gas Giants offered the technology in their armor to revert Ultiman, Hummingbird, and Princess Odyri back to their original states, although at the cost of their own lives, as they did not have time to return to Jupiter before they were trapped in their gaseous forms forever. Jon Cosmos protested, although the Gas Giants removed their armor, allowing the technology to be used to save Ultiman, Hummingbird, and Princess Odyri. Mr. Martian vowed that as long as the Solar System was sanctuary to noble and selfless creatures, he and the Round Table of America would fight with their lives to protect it.

Synopsis for "Out Of Time: the Missing Chapter"

Savage Dragon arrived in 1981 and encountered the New Whiz Kids, as well as Tele-Girl, who recognized him as the Time Bomber. Galahad, Thunder Girl, and Gargoyla all vouched for him before Tele-Girl disappeared to her own time period, as her time pills wore off. Gargoyla sensed that Tele-Girl died and Savage Dragon claimed that an energy blast blew up Mount Olympus and it was still coming. Savage Dragon and the New Whiz Kids planned to stop him in the past in order to prevent Mount Olympus from being blown up.

They arrived two dimensions later and were too late when they joined heroes from both Earths in fighting. Savage Dragon approached the Blitz of Earth-B, who was grieving over Speed Queen dying, and asked him to take him back in time to April 29, 1969 to stop the Time Being from being born.

Notes

"Out of Time" is chapter 21 of the 24-chapter Savage Dragon/Big Bang crossover story arc. It is a "missing" chapter because an artist missed the deadline; new version of the episode to replace the unfinished, unpublished one. The rest of story takes place in Big Bang Comics #12, 14, and 18.
