Knight Watchman learned that a wax figurine of Jesse James robbed the Old First Bank of Midway City. Within several days, wax figurines of Blackbeard and Attila the Hun had committed robberies, but Knight Watchman was confused as to why they stole items, such as worthless money, paste jewelry, and fake furs. In the Wertham Museum of Art in Downtown Midway City, Reid decided to use fake copies of the Mona Lisa and Blue Boy in order to lure the perpetrator into a trap, when a wax figure of Hitler attacked, riding a tank. As Reid changed into the Knight Watchman, the Hitler wax figure took one of the paintings. The wax figure evaded Knight Watchman, who searched the museum for his whereabouts. He looked inside of the Rogues' Gallery and saw the Jesse James and Blackbeard wax figures in their exhibits, but learned that the Hitler wax figure was missing and found its head behind a curtain. Then, he was attacked by Mr. Mask, who was dressed as Jack the Ripper.
