Synopsis for "The Next Penetration"
The starship Intercourse approaches the space station Deep Thrust Nine just as Bloodwulf arrives on his space bike with Smood VI and Oy-Doi. Once inside, he takes Kanefee’s frozen head to a doctor to be thawed out and is told to return in an hour. Smood meets some prostitutes while Bloodwulf goes to a bar. In the landing bay, the traumatized and incoherent captain of the Intercourse steps out of a shuttle with a swollen abdomen. A large, reptilian creature speaking in verse emerges from the shuttle and attacks people just as a smaller one bursts out of the captain’s belly. Kanefee, alive and with a new cybernetic body, finds Bloodwulf in the bar shortly before the creatures attack there. Bloodwulf gives Kanefee a light-sabre, and together they fight their way out. They then run into a team of sexually-themed aliens called Hotblood. In the station security center, Dr. Gale learns the command crew has fled and that the attacking creatures are symbiotes called Carollings. Bloodwulf and Kanefee fight Hotblood until the team runs away from the Carollings. The two men meet up with Dr. Gale, who gave Kanefee his new body, and the droids and make it to a ship in the landing bay. The Carollings attack them as they board, but they manage to escape the station. The group then sets course for a nearby wormhole that will take them to the Regime homeworld.
