History

Bolt gained his powers after being hit by lightning, he went to work for Capes, Inc and wanted to call himself Black Samson but the name was already taken by a member of the Guardians of the Globe. Due to the fact that most famous black superheroes had lightning-themed names he decided to call himself "Bolt".
