Synopsis for "Blood Brothers part 5: And in the End..."
Joined by Lethal, Brigade attacks Bloodstrike. Cabbot orders Shogun to shoot out Stasis’s rejuvenation chamber, preventing her resurrection. Infuriated, Battlestone lashes out at Cabbot while Lethal and Seahawk take on Deadlock, and Coldsnap fights Shogun. Boone engages Fourplay but is frozen in place by Tag’s powers. Fortunately, Kayo and Martin Grant arrive and stun Fourplay. Battlestone and Cabbot argue and beat the crap out of each other until Battlestone tells Cabbot to leave Brigade alone or else he will expose Project: Born Again to the public. Finally, Cabbot tells Battlestone to kill him, but Battlestone refuses, saying letting him live is even worse, and leaves with Brigade. Brigade flies away in their jet, and Battlestone warns the team that Bloodstrike will come after them again. Meanwhile, Bloodstrike leaves in their craft as well, and Cabbot says Battlestone is an even bigger threat to the U.S. government than he previously thought. On the shore of a Caribbean island, the undersea monarch Roman emerges from the surf.
Notes
- This issue is part five of the five-part "Blood Brothers" crossover with Bloodstrike. The previous chapter is Bloodstrike vol. 1 #3.
Trivia
- Roman is an analogue of Marvel Comics' Namor the Sub-Mariner. Even his name is just "Namor" spelled backward.
