Synopsis for 1st story

The issue begins on another planet as some Geldarians notice a familiar energy spike. They continue scanning to determine where the source is.

Back in The Emperor's palace, The Emperor punches Brit and sends him flying. Donald sarcastically asks if this is part of his plan and Brit wonders when they've ever bothered with a plan.

They crash through a wall into another part of the palace that is a strip club. The Emperor has built a recreation of The Ladies Room in his palace. Brit tries to tell the girls to get out of there but they all just continue dancing and he notices that they all have mindscrews attached to them.

The Emperor quickly follows them and blasts through the wall. Brit wonders what happened to him. He's got mind controlled strippers dancing all the time and knocks through walls just to make an entrance. The Emperor tries to explain but just gets frustrated and shoots a canon at Brit.

At the pacification station, Britney, still under The Emperor's mind control, is begging for help to have her stop beating on Wolf-Man. Invincible pulls her off of a badly beaten and bloody Wolf-Man. He asks Tech Jacket for help because he can't stop her without hurting her. But Tech Jacket is unable to move because of whatever The Emperor hit him with.

So Invincible apologizes to Britney and punches her. She just tells him to hit her harder so she doesn't end up killing all of them. She tells him to stop holding back. Wolf-Man jumps on her while her back is turned and tears the mindscrew out of the back of her neck.

Back at the palace, Brit and Donald are falling from an upper story. Donald is able to shoot some kind of rope out of his mouth and they swing back into a lower floor in the palace. The room they land in is created to look like Brit's father's old study. The Emperor comes crashes through again and they fall to a lower floor.

Brit wonders why The Emperor is treating this whole thing like a game of tag. Donald says that he was talking to him like he was the Donald that The Emperor used to know. So now Brit is like a new toy to him, maybe a remembrance of the good old days.

They've landed in some kind of tech armory. Brit asks Donald if he sees anything he likes and Donald is able to interface with a large tank. The Emperor walks in and Donald attacks him. The Emperor tells him to come down but Donald tells him that he is not the Donald he knows and he's not on The Emperor's side. The Emperor tells Donald that he's not doing this and that they never fight. Once he's dealt with the other Brit they'll watch more movies together.

Brit sneaks up behind The Emperor and hits him with an energy hammer. He asks what happened to him. He's become everything they used to hate and fight against. What would his wife think if he told her that he killed all the monsters only to take their place.

The Emperor knocks Brit over by Donald. Brit still wonders why The Emperor isn't finishing him off when it should be easy for him in the omega jacket. Becky has Donald ask what the original plan for taking on The Emperor was. Brit tells him the resistance was going to kidnap him. They think this world's Donald is still alive inside of the armor and that Donald could connect with him and awaken him. But the device they were going to use was destroyed when The Emperor blew off Susan's arm.

Donald tells him it can still work and tells Brit to throw him. Brit tells him that the resistance wasn't sure that Donald would survive. Donald says they don't have a choice and again tells him to throw him. Brit tells him not to die on him and throws him at The Emperor.

The Emperor catches him. Donald introduces him to Becky and Becky zaps him and creates the connection. The omega jacket starts to peal away from The Emperor while he begs it to stay. Brit tells him to let go. This is his chance. But The Emperor tells him that is all he has left after Jessica and everyone else he cares about was killed. Brit tells him that he's just living in a tomb of memories by wearing his friend like a bearskin, torturing the people that remind him of who he was, and living in a palace made to look like all of his old memories.

Brit tells him that he knows him because he is him and The Emperor is still him. Brit says he loves his Jessica and they have a son together. His son is missing and instead of looking for him he is there with The Emperor instead. The Emperor tells him he's an idiot for that. Brit agrees but tells him he's decided he's not leaving until The Emperor lets go. He wants to open his eyes and show him what he's become.

He's going to force him to decide between keeping that shell and letting Jessica, his Jessica, die again. And his son. But this time The Emperor has a chance to save her. He just needs to let it go. Brit says he's gambling everything he loves that there is still a man under that monster he is wearing.

The Emperor collapses to his knees and lets go of the omega jacket which separates from him. The Geldarians notice this. They plan to destroy the omega jacket while it's vulnerable. Then they'll invade Earth and take it over as their new home.

The Emperor's Donald awakens in the omega jacket. He asks what's going on and The Emperor has him access the jacket's memory files. Donald is horrified to see what they've done. Susan comes running up with Donald's head and is excited to see that they've won.

They look up and see a Geldarian ship arrive. The Donald in the omega jacket tells The Emperor they are the only ones that can stop them. Brit tells him to go. Susan is horrified that he's going to merge with the jacket again but Brit tells her that Donald will be in control this time. The Emperor pushes the Geldarian ship into space and hits it with everything he has and blows it up.

Brit gathers up his people and they return to their own dimension.

Later at the Pentagon, Donald and Brit check in on Britney. She's unconscious but it looks like she's going to be okay. Brit heads off to see Jessica. She's in bed and he goes to assure her that he's going to do whatever it takes to get their son back. But the clone that was made to look like him tells him to be quiet because she's resting.

Brit is shocked when he recognizes the voice of his brother Euclid coming from the clone. It tells Brit that his son is with him and he will kill him if Brit doesn't do exactly what he says.
