God was nearly Omnipotent but has a limitation of knowing mankind's fate as a self-imposed weakness.
Nigh-Omnipotence is a term used to describe the ability of some characters to do nearly anything. Sometimes a limit is placed on their power by external forces, or self-imposed.
Restrictions to this ability arise differently between characters, but some must be guided by or withheld by the "law" of their character. Example is a Satan must never show forgiveness, and God must never uphold evil.
