Synopsis for 1st story
In New Orleans, Chapel wakes up in Martha Jackson’s apartment to discover he has turned into a woman. She and Martha then watch a TV news report about the same thing happening to men in Washington, D.C. They go for a walk in the French Quarter and are sexually harassed by a couple of men. When one of them gropes her, Chapel kicks his ass. Several of the men’s friends gang up on her, and she beats them up, too. Afterward, she confides in Martha about the demonic visions she has been having, and Martha takes her to see Madame Sue, a local psychic. Sue begins her reading of Chapel, explosively conjuring Lord Chapel's form and triggering disasters across the country. Chapel resists Lord Chapel, refusing to go along with his plan for conquest. Then, Madame Sue’s house explodes, and Chapel returns to his male form. He and Spawn simultaneously call out each other’s names.
Notes
- This issue is a tie-in with the "Babewatch" crossover between Glory and Youngblood. In Youngblood vol. 2 #3, the sorceress Diabolique casts a spell transforming all the men Glory has met into women; in Glory vol. 1 #8, the spell is reversed.
- This issue includes a pin-up of the feminized Chapel by Calvin Irving and Richard Horie.
