Synopsis for 1st story
Death’s Angel forces the captive Stryke Force to watch him torpedo and sink another U.S. Navy ship, killing all aboard. Gloating, he reveals his intent to implant them with Cyberdata brain boxes and make them his henchmen. He leaves, and Stryker uses a device in one of his cybernetic arms to free himself and the others. Tempest and Black Anvil go to missile control where he protects her from Angel’s men while she disables the missiles. Unfortunately, the fight damages the control system before she can finish, leaving one missile still set to launch. Stryker finds Death’s Angel with the dignitary hostages and attacks him. The villain gets the upper hand and tortures Stryker with his powers until Bloodbow and Killrazor arrive and drive him off. Able to withstand the deep ocean pressure thanks to his powers, Black Anvil crawls onto the exterior of the sub and makes his way to the missile launch tube. Just as the missile launches, he climbs onto its nosecone. After it surfaces and as it flies through the air, he destroys the nuclear component, causing it to crash into the sea. Death’s Angel flees in an escape pod only to discover its controls have been disabled by Tempest as it sinks into the ocean depths. Later, aboard Skywatch, Weatherman One watches a news report of Death’s Angel’s defeat and says he needs Stryke Force’s help.
