Synopsis for the 1st Story
Black Anvil lunges at Tempest, thinking she is an impostor, but she fends him off. Fuji then points them to the attacking Shu’rii behind them. Stryker and Battalion join Bloodbow and Diva just as the supposedly dead Killrazor wakes up. Following a call from Tempest, all except for Bloodbow run to aid her group. Unbeknownst to anyone, Sh’rrrnn has taken Bloodbow’s form and turned against the Shu’rii. It goes to its hideout and frees its captives, including Cannon and Weatherman One. Elsewhere, Stryker’s group meets up with Tempest’s group, but Stryker realizes something is off, and the shapeshifting Shu’rii reveal themselves. Stryker follows Killrazor through a hole in the wall and realizes Killrazor has been replaced when he talks. Stryker shoots the impostor, and the real Killrazor wakes up. They then find a cocoon out of which the real Black Anvil bursts. Disguised as Bloodbow, Sh’rrnnn joins Cannon in helping the others, revealing the Shu’rii can be killed by targeting the jewels on their heads. Stryke Force and Stormwatch then destroy the remaining aliens. Later, the two teams bid each other a friendly goodbye, even Black Anvil and Cannon. Having adopted Bloodbow’s identity, Sh’rrrnn leaves with Stryke Force while the real Bloodbow’s shriveled corpse lies elsewhere aboard Skywatch.
