Synopsis for the 1st Story

Team pilot P.J. drops Black Anvil off to visit his family while, aboard the Diable Marin, Stryker practices target shooting.  Tempest brings him an urgent fax from his accountant, Dominique Beaner. In Bloodbow’s quarters, Sh’rrrnn has temporarily morphed into a female version of Bloodbow and finds it comfortable. Sh’rrrnn worries what the team will do when they learn the real Bloodbow is dead.  Stryker visits Beaner at her office in Manhattan and learns he is deep in debt.  Fortunately, she has received two job offers for him.  After stopping a purse snatcher on the street, he calls Tempest and tells her to recall the team.  In Nepal, Killrazor is lying on a bed of spikes when he gets the call.  Once the team has gathered on the sub, Stryker briefs them and splits them into two squads.  Tempest, Bloodbow, and Killrazor go to the Amazon to rescue the daughter of a U.S. senator from a primitivist cult while Stryker, P.J., and Black Anvil go to India to pick up a shipment of hazardous materials.  Upon arriving in the Amazon, Tempest flies off to reconnoiter the area but is shot down with a tranquilizer dart.  Half an hour later, strange creatures ambush and defeat Bloodbow and Killrazor.
