Synopsis for 1st story
At the Subplex, Cyberforce continues to help Stryker recover and notes that Ripclaw and Velocity have not checked in. Then, Heatwave sees a TV news report about an explosion aboard a sub on the coast of Rhode Island. In a Manhattan hospital, doctors cut Dominique Beaner out of the cocoon she was placed in by Sh’rrrnn. Soon thereafter, Impact arrives to pick her up at Stryker’s request. In Rhode Island, Killrazor and Ripclaw crawl ashore and have a brief skirmish with local police before Cyberforce arrives in a jet to retrieve them. In Staten Island, Death’s Angel returns to his mother’s home and has visions of Shu’roch as he bathes. Elsewhere, Timmie watches as the Shu’rii hold Black Anvil, Tempest, and Velocity captive. Aboard Cyberforce’s jet, Ripclaw reveals to Stryker that Sh’rrrnn impersonated Bloodbow for months. Heatwave calls out Stryker for his poor leadership, and Stryker agrees. Ripclaw then reveals himself as a Shu’rii impostor and teleports the jet to Shu’roch. The jet crashes, and Cyblade kills the impostor, but Cyberforce quickly find themselves swarmed by Shu’rii. Stryker fights his way through them and engages the Shu’rii emperor, ultimately killing it by destroying the jewel on its head. This causes all the other Shu’rii to stop fighting. Sh’rrnn explains her species will remain in that passive state until their next leader—her—assumes the throne. Cyberforce frees Stryke Force and their teammates, and Sh’rrrnn takes them back to Earth through Death’s Angel’s mind, arriving in his mother’s house. The next night in Manhattan, Stryker tells Stryke Force the team was a mistake and disbands it.
