History

In 1992, the prince of planet D'Vor, Genocide, left for Earth in hopes of finding a worthy opponent. This caused a commotion, and the Emperor of D'Vor tasked his High Council with retrieving his son. The Magistrate, a member of the Council, teleported Genocide to D'Vor along with his opponents, the superhero team Brigade.[1] Brigade appeared in an arena, where the Magistrate declared Brigade had challenged Genocide first and for that crime they had to be executed. With no room for discussion, Brigade escaped the arena they were in, but when they were swarmed by an army of D'Voran fighters, a female human member of Brigade blasted a hole through the ground, leading them into The Tunnels, a sewage system. There, they defeated a gruesome monster. This impressed the Magistrate, who was watching them from a Control Tower. He decided to capture Brigade alive, and sent a task force called The Factor, composed by Knockdown, Reign and Trek, against Brigade. The D'Vorians were able to overpower Brigade until they were stopped by the arrival of a group of freedom fighters who called themselves the Birds of Prey.[2] Not wanting to fight the Birds of Prey in their territory, The Factor fled.[3]

A few days later, the Imperial High Guard found the humans and the Freedom Fighters, and, under orders of the Magistrate, led them towards the Citadel, where Genocide could have his last chance at redemption. He challenged the human's leader to a one-on-one match, but the Birds of Prey and the rest of the humans joined in quickly enough. In the chaos, Genocide managed to kill one of the humans, but their leader pummelled Genocide in revenge, defeating him. Afterwards, the humans boarded a ship and departed to Earth. The Birds of Prey swore to lead Genocide to Justice.[4]
