Synopsis for "Facets"
On Caballito Island, Threshold once again has a nightmare about his parents’ murders, dreaming that Baiul was responsible. Evo, Frostbite, and Powerhaus train in virtual reality against simulacrums of Gen 13. Frostbite justifies his allegiance to Baiul, realizing that DV8 are fugitive killers without her protection. Threshold asks Bliss about their parents’ deaths, but she was too young to remember. Later, Baiul experiments on Copycat to try and expand the range of her powers. The attempt backfires, causing Copycat’s alternate personalities to possess the members of DV8. They band together and attack Baiul, refusing to return to Copycat’s body. She tricks them into letting her awaken Freestyle, who had been left in cryogenic stasis. Freestyle’s powers prevent her from being possessed so, when the personalities try, the psychic feedback forces them out of DV8 and back into Copycat. Unbeknownst to all, however, Bliss is possessed by an unknown entity.
