Synopsis for "Gone to Ground"
An injured, partially amnesiac Threshold has found shelter in a derelict building. Fading in and out of consciousness, he recalls ripping out Baiul’s cybernetics and being wounded by Sublime. A woman named Clarice finds him and shares her food. He passes out again, remembering his mother’s murder when he was a child. Over the following days, Clarice feeds him, and his memory begins to return. He recollects fighting Frostbite and crashing into this building. Later, he learns Clarice is a junkie who pays her dealer with sex. He finds the dealer and learns the man videotapes Clarice having sex. In response, he kills the dealer, then returns to the building, kills Clarice for being weak, and flies away. At IO, Frostbite and Colby are arguing over the recent mission to Tremayne’s island when a fully recovered Ivana announces herself and reassumes command.
