Synopsis for "Slipstream Prologue"
On Baiul’s orders, Sublime surveys a destroyed defense site in Norfolk and discovers unusual energy readings, unaware that Providence is watching her. At IO, Baiul rejects Colby and Santini’s request to keep overseeing DV8. After they leave, she overhears them plotting against her and becomes enraged. Later, Freestyle rounds up the team to attend a party at a bar open exclusively to IO agents. She remains nervous around Evo after seeing him savagely kill people during their last mission. Upon arrival, the team orders drinks and gossips. Powerhaus and Sublime dance and discuss Freestyle while Freestyle suggests coupling with Sublime to Frostbite. Leon angrily lashes out and says he is not attracted to white women. Meanwhile, Evo discovers the owner of the bar is Sideways Bob. Freestyle starts feeling sick so Sublime takes her to the restroom. As she cleans up, Freestyle is shocked to find herself tended to by Caitlin Fairchild and passes out. Fairchild carriers her out to meet the rest of DV8 which now includes her and her estranged father Alex. Freestyle comes to long enough to see Caitlin kiss her lover Frostbite and realizes something is wrong.
