The Dead Zone is a place for Heaven on Earth. When Spawn wandered into the area for the first time, his suit was unreactive and he was murdered by regular street bums.[1] Upon having his body dragged out of the area, the creatures of evil were able to restore Spawn's body and he was resurrected.[2]
Resurrection[]
The Dead Zone is a place that both Hell and Heaven have forsaken. Neither enters the area. For this reason, Albert Simmons blew his head off just outside of this region, and then collapsed his body inside so that he wasn't taken to either place.[3] Later, Jim Downing would return to the same spot to trick his K7-Leetha suit into crossing the boarder. This caused both to be sucked into a green plasm and disappear from Earth.[4]
