Synopsis for 1st story

In Washington, D.C., Craven prevents an investigation of Project Genesis by arranging an organ transplant for the ill daughter of Senator Douglas Killory.  In New York, operatives of Kaizen Gamorra arrive in pursuit of reporter Karl Woodbern who is meeting with Rayna Masters and insisting she get Cray to protect him.  At his home, Cray wakes up from a nightmare about his parents’ murder by terrorists. At IO, Craven is arguing with Kaizen about handling Woodbern when a shadowy figure enters offering the location of John Lynch.  Cray visits his parents’ graves and is met by his younger brother, Alex.  Their brief reunion is interrupted by a phone call from Rayna.  Cray meets her at a restaurant, and she gives him the address to a safehouse, unaware they are being watched by the Gamorran operatives.  Cray stops to visit a doctor for a check-up and gets a clean bill of health.  Upon arriving at the safehouse, Cray is angry to learn Rayna’s client is Woodbern as the man botched an anti-terrorism operation Cray led a decade earlier. Woodbern then reveals that he has obtained evidence of Project Genesis and mailed it to his girlfriend.  They visit the strip club where she works and are ambushed by the Gamorrans.  To protect his girlfriend, Woodbern allows the Gamorrans to abduct him.  Frank Colby arrives with Black Razors to arrest her and Cray, but Rayna makes him back off by threatening to go to the press.  Cray decides to go to Gamorra and rescue Woodbern.
