Synopsis for 1st story

Cray, Trickle, and their IO strike team parachute out over Baghdad.  At their target, Iraqi intelligence headquarters, a monk from the Order of the Cross and two imams meet with Iraqi dictator Saddam Kussein.  They request that he designate an ancient Order site in the desert as off-limits, but he informs them that his troops recently fought a battle there. Suddenly, the power goes out, and Cray’s team bursts in with guns blazing.  Cray shoots Kussein, but the monk kills two of Trickle’s men.  Cray shoots the monk, and, as he dies, the monk pleas with Cray to stop the Black Angel.  Cray then discovers that “Kussein” was actually a body double for the real dictator while Trickle acquires the intelligence data IO seeks.  Using a skyhook, Cray and Trickle escape just before bomber aircraft destroy the building.  In the desert, the Black Angel taunts Cray and summons his demonic minions.

Synopsis for "untitled"

The Techno-Dwarves watch as a catatonic Delacorte continues to experience Katrina’s memories:  Gila and a band of Hunter-Killers wiped out the N-B-K and abducted Cisco.  Katrina escaped but decided to follow the Hunter-Killers back to Kaizen Gamorra’s compound to rescue her partner.  She tracked him to a cybernetics lab where he was being vivisected and altered by the cyborg Dr. Vandalia.  He offered to restore Cisco to human form if Katrina agreed to take Cisco's place.  Delacorte convulses, and the Techno-Dwarves sever his link with Katrina.  He reveals she is human, not a droid, and they abort the de-installation procedure.
