History[]
Decay is a superhuman creature that seemed to have the ability to instantly decompose anything that it touched. Decay began murdering mob witnesses around the same time that Al Simmons returned to Earth after his war in Hell.
Al and Terry discussed the possibility that Jim Downing may not be the only experiment of Project Ragnarok still living, and Al,despite being powerless at the time, chose to make Decay his first opponent.
After a brief fight and chase, Decay made a wrong move and fell off the roof of a building, splattering on the ground below, presumably dead. Decay also made an appearance in Spawn 297 in the recap.
