Synopsis for "First Drafts"
In Jerusalem, Cardinal Lazarus is briefed on the infiltration of an installation and subsequent theft of the Creation Equation by IO agent Christine Blaze. Enraged, Lazarus orders his subordinate, Lord Jesthra, to send his minions the Rath after her. In Avignon, France, a religious order discusses the theft and dispatches three warriors known as The Fallen to acquire the Equation. In San Diego, college student Max Faraday wakes up from a weird dream, and his older sister Jenny tells him to get ready for work.
