History
Edward Rife was a senator who called a press conference outside the Capitol Building to reveal evidence against former CIA Director Jedemiah Hagstrom.[1] When he was about to give the conference, he was attacked by a hired assassin named Ripcord. He was saved by the chance intervention of the super-hero Infiniti. After she defeated Ripcord with her powers, Rife told her he had a proposition for her.[2]
