History
Origins[]
While the way he obtained his powers and the reasons behind his criminal ways are both unknown what is known is that through the years the Elephant has taken part in many crimes in many roles.[1]
Capture and Escape[]
During one of his criminal sprees the Elephant was defeated by the young hero Invincible but he escaped some months later after a jaibreak led by Doc Seismic.[2]Attributes

- Transformation: Elephant's amulet allows him to switch back and forth between his human and superpowered form.[3]
- Superhuman Strength: Elephant is superhumanly strong and at his peak he can lift 15 tons.[1]
- Superhuman Durability: Elephant possesses a higher degree of resistance to injury compared to a normal human.[1]

- Accelerated Healing: Elephant possesses accelerated recuperative powers.[1]
- Enhanced Intellect: Elephant possesses a photographic or eidetic memory, which allows him to recall images, sounds or objects with great accuracy and in seemingly unlimited volume.[1]

- Alcoholism: Elephant is an alcoholic and attends AA meetings.[4]
- Diminished Intellect: The Elephant possesses a low to below average intellect.[1]

- Elephant Uniform: The Elephant wears a highly resistant synthesized polymer hide that furtherly enhances his durability and protects him from small anti-tank weaponry and temperature extremes.[1]

- Elephant is similar to Rhino in the Marvel Comic's.
- Outside of Image Comics, The Elephant made a guest appearance in The Tick #100.
- Despite appearing as a white man the Elephant is actually african-american in his human form.[3]
