History

In medieval times, Elinor was born out of the Darkness when wielded by Lord Cardinale. She faithfully served her lord as he planned to invade nearby Faerie by recommendation of Archon Matthew Royale.

Not trusting the man, and wanting to protect her lord, she pressed Royale further while a battle ensued outside of a Faerie stronghold. Royale admitted that the Witchblade had the power to stop them and was on its way to battle him.

Upon warning him, Lord Cardinale soon found himself overpowered. He summoned all of the Darkness power into himself, including Elinor and she was then imprisoned inside Lord Cardinale.
