Emily is the daughter of Rebecca Reed and one half of the superhero duo Firebirds.
History
Origin[]
Emily was born from the union of the superheroine Firebird and her ex-husband. Due to her mother's status she was sent to a boarding school to protect her. By the time she was almost sixteen her powers had started to develop and when her mother got injured she was sent back home to give her a blood transfusion. She was shocked of learning of her mother's secret life but she and her mother had a chance to bond when her mother showed her how to use her powers. One day, when her mother wasn't available, Emily took her costume and left to fight the villain Zero. Despite the fact that she was easily overpowered she was rescued by her mother who praised her initiative.[1]
