Synopsis for "Homecoming"

At IO Headquarters in New York, Director John Lynch and Sublime, his lover and second-in-command, observe as IO detects a spacecraft approaching Earth.  Lynch recognizes it as the Noaamite ship just as IO automatic defense systems destroy it.  Enraged, he lashes out at a Sublime and an IO technician.  Just before the ship explodes, Kobeh’s friend Gronk pushes Caitlin, Roxy, and Grunge into an escape pod and launches it.  Elsewhere, anti-IO resistance members Bobby and Sarah, along with Sigma and Simon Tsung, recognize the ship as well.  The escape pod sets down on Liberty Island, and Gen 13 are immediately set upon and knocked out by Sublime and IO Keepers.  At the rebel base in Chinatown, Grifter arrives and decides to retrieve Gen 13 from IO with Bobby and Sarah while Sigma leaves to find two other operatives, Inertia and Vibe.  Sublime takes Gen 13 to IO Headquarters where they are met by a bald, aged Lynch.  He reveals Earth is at war with the D’rahn. While he leaves with Caitlin to speak privately, Roxy and Grunge are taken away to have cortical samples taken, but Grifter, Burnout, and Rainmaker bust in just in time to rescue them.  In a sub-basement of IO, Lynch shows Fairchild his secret weapon to defeat the D’rahn.
