Synopsis for "Paradigm Shift"
Rainmaker watches as Caitlin happily reunites with her father. Feeling lonely, Sarah walks to a bar down the beach where she finds Roxy drinking. Just then, an angry man with a gun bursts into the bar. Alex tells Caitlin he thought she was dead, but now he intends to stay with her. Later, Lynch tries to sell Alex on his plan to reunite Team 7 and use Gen 13 to take over IO from Ivana Baiul. Alex refuses and does not want Caitlin involved. At the bar, Roxy uses her powers to knock out the gunman, and a group of patrons invite her and Sarah back to their gambling den to bet on lizard racing. Roxy wins in a lucky streak, angering the other gamblers. While she and Sarah talk about the woman Sarah met in New York, the ringleader injures Roxy’s lizard. Roxy retaliates by using her powers to make her lizard win the next race anyway. The gamblers gang up on Roxy and Sarah, but the two successfully defend themselves with their powers and leave with Roxy’s winnings.
