Synopsis for "Overture"
Roxy and Sarah have returned to New York to visit Roxy’s stepmother, Gloria. Unbeknownst to them, Alex Fairchild is on his way to retrieve them, and IO Warhawks are stalking them. Aboard his flight, Alex recalls Lynch sending him rather than the whole team since Cordelia deleted all IO records of him, making him harder to track. Grifter and Warblade go to visit Isaiah in the hospital only to be attacked by a giant, dinosaur-like cyborg. It fends them off easily and kidnaps Isaiah. After dinner with her stepmother, Roxy answers a knock at the door. It is Alex, and he and Gloria recognize each other from a fling 19 years earlier. Suddenly, the Warhawks burst in and attack. Alex, Roxy, and Sarah use their powers to hold them off and escape with Gloria. Later, the Warhawk squad leader briefs Frank Colby and IO Director Ivana Baiul.
