Synopsis for "Failed Universe part 2"
Before Grunge can explain to Roxy why Swift brought him to the Carrier, his arrival triggers his brainwashing, and he infects the Carrier with a cancerous neuroprogram. The structure of the Carrier destabilizes, causing a “baby” universe to appear and chase Roxy, Grunge, and Swift. Soon, they discover the ship is under siege by multiple baby universes. Grunge uses his powers to bond with the Carrier, supercharging his intellect. He explains that the baby universes are actually failed universes, unable to produce life, and that he was brainwashed into triggering this event. In the process, he reveals his affair with Swift, emotionally devastating Roxy. Grunge tells Roxy she can find a better boyfriend than him and then uses his powers to link her with the Carrier, boosting her intellect. To Swift’s astonishment, Roxy uses her powers to create a black hole that consumes the baby universes and then vanishes. Before passing out, she tells Grunge she still loves him. Just before he severs his bond with the Carrier, Grunge tells Swift neither he nor Roxy will remember any of this. Later, the rest of Gen 13 arrives home to find Grunge watching Roxy once again win the dance game.
Notes
