The origin of the GDA are shrowded in mystery but along its history it is known that it recruited the superhuman Brit[1], authorized the experiments that resulted in the birth of Atom Eve[2] and made first contact with the alien that would be known as Omni-Man[3].
The New Guardians of the Globe[]
After Omni-Man murdered the Guardians of the Globe the GDA was tasked to take over the Guardians and create a new team led by Robot.[4] When the new Guardians kept struggling to protect the world Cecil had the recently resurrected Immortal rejoin the team as an advisor.
