History
Heavy Mettle was a super team privately owned by Jason Temple and his company, G.A.T.E. International.[1] Its members were Decibel, Skyraker, Riot, and Menagerie.
In 1992, they were tasked with stopping Supreme from killing the inmate Zachariah Grizlock, who was an essential asset for G.A.T.E. After Supreme defeated each member of Heavy Mettle, Decibel tried a different approach and told Supreme their boss Jason Temple could explain everything. Supreme only agreed to give them five minutes of their time. They travelled to G.A.T.E. Enterprises headquarters, where Temple convinced Supreme to join Heavy Mettle as field team leader in less than five minutes.[2]
