History
Creating Prophet[]
In 1937, Dr. Garnet Wells was working on human experimentation using futuristic technology, using homeless people as test subjects to advance human genes, which earned him the nickname of the "mad scientist". Wells began experimenting on a man named Jonathan Taylor Prophet. Prophet surpassed Wells' expectations, so he developed his natural athletic abilities to the point of superhuman strength, speed and stamina. Wells gave Prophet an "outlandish" uniform and weapons and put him in a cryogenic sleep.[2] Wells began experimenting on Prophet under orders of Phillip Omen. When Wells learned that Omen planned to use Prophet to kill him, he infused Prophet with scripture from the Bible as a way of telling right and wrong.
Creating Supreme[]
By 1939, Doctor Wells and the U.S. government had began working on a project that took the lives of six convicted killers who were used as test subjects in the process. Eventually, Ethan Crane was chosen to be the new test subject for a project[3] that took place in a secret government facility under the Potomac. When the experiment commenced, Crane was believed to have died during the procedure.[4]
When World War II reached a fever pitch, and rumors started flying that Hitler desired the products of Wells' work, he disappeared.[5]See Also
