Synopsis for "Chapter Three (Family Matters TPB)"

There's been a rash of disappearances at Mark's high school and no one can quite find a connection between them. After a while, Mark goes out on patrol with Nolan and they run into a group of universe conquering Flaxians who they manage to slow down until they retreat due to the aging effects that the Earth has on them. After fighting off the Flaxians, Mark and Nolan find one of the missing students in the Lakeside Mall with a bomb in his chest. Before it can explode, Nolan throws him through the hole in the roof. Before the two can go back home, Nolan is suddenly captured by the Flaxan. Mark arrives home to tell Debbie the bad news.
