Director Lamode is the director of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. He loathes Mike Applebee and tells him to do real detective work like Tony Chu. When the Collector attacked an FDA conference and froze everyone in chocolate, Lamode asked Chu for help. Chu used his Cibopathy to find the location of the chocolate bandits and return it to the FDA.[1]
