History
Lethal was an old ally of Brigade. When some of its members were captured by the top-secret government strike force called Bloodstrike, Lethal somehow was able to make their artificially intelligent computer, Roam, obey her and teleport her inside their jet. There, she subdued Bloodstrike member Deadlock before getting into an even fight with Bloodstrike leader Cabbot Stone. After distracting him with a kick, she shot at one of the tubes holding a member of brigade prisoner, which freed Seahawk.[1] Seahawk tackled Cabbot. Wanting to see how Cabbot did, Deadlock refused to intervene. After trading punches, Cabbot shot Seahawk in the chest. Seahawk retaliated by impaling Cabbot with the spires on his helmet. With Cabbot temporarily down, Lethal grabbed Seahawk and jumped out of the plane.[2]
Lethal teleported her and Seahawk to one of Battlestone’s safehouses on an island in the Caribbean to stock up on weaponry. Seahawk noticed she had access to Roam and demanded answers. Lethal explained that she was an old ally of Battlestone and that Washington was against Brigade because John was waging a war against the U.S. government and their program called Project: Born Again, through which the government resurrected dead operatives including Battlestone and the members of Bloodstrike. John dragged Seahawk and his brother Coldsnap into it because they had the funds he didn't have, but all the press Brigade was getting made the government nervous that John would blow the lid on the people who really ran the world from the shadows. Afterwards, Lethal and Seahawk teleported into the Los Angeles branch of G.A.T.E. International, where Roam had located Brigade, who were fighting against Bloodstrike.[3]
Amidst the fighting, Lethal and Seahawk fought Deadlock. Battlestone and Cabbot argued and beat the crap out of each other until Battlestone told Cabbot to leave Brigade alone or else he would expose Project: Born Again to the public. Finally, Cabbot told Battlestone to kill him, but Battlestone refused, saying letting him live was even worse, and left with Brigade. Brigade flew away in their jet, and Battlestone warned the team that Bloodstrike would come after them again, but letting them go sent a message to the puppet masters controlling their strings.[4]
