I have researched the Spawn Reading Order wiki and have bought every core title over the last year or two. I can't thank you and the two other contributors enough for your work on this reading order. I'm so amazed at how much work had to have went into creating it. I see every graphic novel listed except for 1. Do you or the other two contributors happen to know where Batman/Spawn: War Devil fits in? It's the sequel to aka The Red Scare.
Thank you so much in advance
Possibly. It could have just been him thinking. I just assumed that was her name because it was directly above her head when they showed her. Who knows. I'm curious about how this "Satan Saga Wars" is going to go, and judging from the cover of #259 it looks like their going back to Spawn's Capullo design.
That field is a status and the status is Widowed as far as adjectives are concerned. The person may be a widower as a noun, but they are of widowed status. I've adjusted to code to allow either as input so irrelevant now.
Then should this page exist? http://imagecomics.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Widower_Characters And also, if we're moving them all to one page, shouldn't we edit the page so that it says "Male and Female characters who's spouse has died and are currently not married." Instead of the description only mentioning female characters?
So no that page shouldn't exist but you don't have to fix it. It'll get fixed with code change I made. I think wikia updates the template categories nightly so it will probably get updated by tomorrow and the page should be blank *fingers crossed*
For your second question, you are correct, it should not have a gender. It looks like it was created by Thai in 2008 and he didn't really know what was going on.
I have known about this for a while and not fixed it. I have the same issue with Blonde vs Blond that I haven't fixed yet.
I said that wrong, you are correct with both questions in the sense that I presumed your first statement was rhetorical. I think I've fixed hair for blond/blonde/strawberry blond and auburn/red as well. Thanks for kicking me in the butt to get on these.
I've seen them. What usually happens is there's a job that refreshes template updates and categories. It usually (not always) runs nightly I think. So in theory, tonight or whenever that job next runs, it'll move all those pages automatically to the Category:Widowed Characters due to the template now pushing that. If you're anxious you're more than welcome to open them and then edit/save as a blank edit and it should push them manually.
I tried that. I went and created a new page, and made the word "Widower" a redirect link to the Category:Widowed Characters , but when I click on Widower, it still links to the old Widower page. So I'm not sure what's going on, maybe we have to wait for site to update on it's own.
Hello, below is a message that requested you make sure to contribute photos via the "Contribute->Add a Photo" button so that you could fill out the template. Please make sure to remember to follow this.
I remember seeing some of your pictures uploaded from earlier! Awesome to see you back again, you clearly know your Spawn stuff and it's great to see another fan of this stuff.
Make sure when you upload the photos, you use the "Contribute" button in the upper right hand corner. There's a quick template to fill out. This helps make us stay compliant with copyright and also gives credit to the creators of the images so its' auto linked to the penciler, colourist etc. Any Idea which issues those came from?
I'll go ahead and rename to follow the name standard too. Typically we'd like to see name of character, universe if applicable, and then a number. Cool stuff man! You like Jenkins run so far?
Will do, thanks for telling me that cause I had no idea to do so! And yeah, I'm pretty sure I know which issues all those images are from, is it too late to use the contribute button on those images? Cause I've already uploaded them and put them on their respective pages.
And yeah! I love it so far, I'm just really glad to see the series is steady again, and that Al is back. Bought ever single issue on release day since #250.
You can always update the image credits, just go to the image page by putting "File:" in front of the image name when searching. :)
I think I got the right issue, but let me know if my memory failed me for this one: Wanda Change History
I was really worried at first that the new Spawn story would be disjointed with Jenkins. When I saw what the subject was for Spawn Vol 1 253 I thought, here we go again like Jenkins did with Spawn: The Undead Vol 1, it wasn't easy to get into, but I think with protecting his dad and such and finally getting to see Belial it really helped me get into it more! Awesome to see another fan! Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks! And yeah, you got the Wanda one right. And yeah, although it does seem to be somewhat disjointed. Like I wrote on God's page. We don't know who this God is, cause the original God was an evil egotistical bastard. This God is a female, and seemingly wants to actually help Spawn, which is a change. Not to mention, what happened to Cyan? Or Terry? It almost seems implied that Terry and Wanda got a divorce because Wanda has yet to mention him even once, and refers to Al as her husband now.
Mike is apparently Al's guardian angel. And...you're right. I wonder who this unborn child is too, cause if you remember in the Endgame story arc, Al and Wanda had a daughter, and they both thought she died, but she didn't, and she became Spawn temporarily, and tried to kill Wanda, Al, Nyx, and Cyan.
Now the story goes that Al and Wanda had an unborn son who died in her womb. So what? I guess we're suppose to just assume that Endgame never happened, except for the part where Al blew his head off? Lol
