Synopsis for 1st story
Years ago at Buckaroo High prom, several students stood around wondering where Warren and Shannon Crane were located. One of the students quips they are probably fighting or making out.
Sharon picks up bad habits from Warren in their high school days.
In a room, Shannon pleads for her boyfriend Warren to stop talking about serial killers. Shannon starts biting her nails and Warren freaks out and takes off running.
Later, Shannon wakes up to a nightmare that Warren was in her room and about to stab her. She finds a note in her bed that said he apologizes.
In the present, a mob forms around a hospital yelling to hang Warren. Sheriff Crane arrives and asks Officer Link for a debrief. He tells her the town is accusing Warren of attacking a patient, Carroll. Crane arrests Warren and tells Abigail Barker she's taking him to Portland so he's not killed in his jail cell. As they jump in the car, Finch cracks Warren in the jaw for ditching them in the caves earlier.[1] Warren pleads that he only did it to check on Carroll.
They head to the lake where the bus crashed earlier first.[2] They head underwater where Warren shows them hidden caverns. He explains he found them years ago. He shows they are fake and some sicko built it to torment people. He shows them a photo where he believes one of the people is Mrs. Kenny. Five of the people in the picture where serial killers and he's not sure what happened with the other three kids in the photo. Warren explains somehow, Carroll had figured out some of these details in his research.
Alice suddenly appears and corroborates Warren's story. She explains she also has been mapping out the tunnels for months. She tells them she had been researching because she wanted to know if she would become the next butcher. Suddenly, she's stabbed from behind by the Butcher of Buckaroo. He turns his gaze towards the trio and tells them to run.
