History

Nebular is an intelligent man with an engineering background. He is a sixth generation Asian-American who joined The Group, a collection of people secretly plotted to bring back the internet.

Khalid led secret meetings in the slums portion of town referred to as The Tubes with plans to relaunch the internet. Taj McGill and Nebular were regulars in the meetings. One day, Taj announced she was leaving the group. Khalid waited for Taj McGill to return home and murdered her to keep her from spilling their secrets.

Later, DeGuerre dressed in Taj's Nym, called Nebular to The Tubes pretending to be her. Nebular arrived and lauded Taj for calling him. He said he wasn't sure he'd hear from her after they left The Group. DeGuerre revealed his identity from the Nym and pulled out a knife on Nebular. DeGuerre had Nebular drive him to his secret base. He received a call from his Frenchmen henchmen who had examined PI's finger. They found no prints as he had burned them off with acid. He ordered them to find where PI lived. DeGuerre brought Nebular into his work and showed him he had built a gigantic missile, "in order to change a few minds."

DeGuerre had Nebular fix his missile. Nebular told him he could get it to fly but the technology was very dated. As Nebular works on the rocket, he slowly starts to agree with DeGuerre's standards. Nebular and DeGuerre headed to his apartment to find someone had already broken in. When a motorcycle broke out, they gave chance until they were shot at with a shotgun. Nebular realized they stole his iPad which had the plans for the rocket and relaunching the internet.

DeGuerre decided to launch the rocket early. They moved the rocket from a warehouse to the Wonderwall. When Raveena and PI discovered their location, Nebular was attacked by PI and overpowered. He had this Nym taken after he was knocked out by PI so that he could pretend to be Nebular as he moved forward with stopping DeGuerre.
