Synopsis for "ShadowHunt part 5: Shadows"
New Man insists Youngblood hold off attacking the Shadowhawk robot until he can find the Spirit of Justice animating it a human host. The team refuses, and Badrock uses the invulnerable gynoid Kia as a club to knock the robot’s head off. New Man catches its helmet, which contains the spirit, and teleports away. After using his telepathy to get some money from a street hustler, he goes to a café and waits. Elsewhere in Manhattan, student Eddie Collins gets a date with a girl and runs home to get ready. On the way, he spots some muggers assaulting a man and intervenes, fighting them off. New Man sees this and realizes Collins is the next host. He visits Collins’s apartment and presents the helmet. As soon as Collins touches it, he transforms into the new Shadowhawk and sees a vision of the origin and history of the Shadowhawk line. New Man asks Collins if he is ready for the job, and he says he is. New Man teleports to a bus terminal across town and, mulling over his own identity crisis, boards a bus for home: Detroit.
