History
The Overlap is an alternate dimension that exists outside of space and time. It is the birthplace of Magic.[1]
The Overlap's power is sustained by feeding of of information. This information is then feed into The Prime. They have a vested interest in discovering a Hellspawn's vulnerabilities and have discerned they are harmed by neither fire nor concussive blast. They determine to use an Atomic Bomb to discover if there is a weakness to atomic fallout and explosions. After the atomic explosion plan backfires and Harry Houdini transports the bomb to explode within The Overlap, its inhabitants now have a chance to see what creatures will be affected by the fallout.[2]
