Synopsis for 1st story

In 2029, a team of American and Japanese astronauts find hundreds of dead bodies in a chasm on the Moon.  In the present, Prophet is standing on the Antarctic icecap when a giant robot rises out of the ground and attacks.  As he fights back, Prophet has flashes of memory from his past lives as a warrior throughout history.  Finally, he sends the robot over a cliff and passes out.  Another robot appears and carries off his unconscious form.  When Prophet awakens, a hologram of Kirby greets him and tells him he is in a hi-tech facility built eons ago by Dr. Wells. Kirby explains that Crypt did not kill him but rather exiled him to an alternate timeline.  Kirby then reveals that everything Prophet thinks he knows about his past is wrong.  Wells did not create Prophet; he re-created him.  In Philip Omen’s base, an alternate version of Omen appears, slaughters Omen’s men, and tries to kill him.  Omen criticizes the attempt and blows his doppelganger’s head off.  Kirby leads Prophet into a teleportation beam.  Prophet re-materializes in another facility to find Dr. Wells waiting for him.  Wells says they only have a few hours to save Kirby.
