Synopsis for "The Dying Factor"
After Kirby had shot Prophet, the latter was placed in the D.O.C.C. and found himself in a realm called the Dreamtime, where a man called the War-Raven sent his ninjas to attack him. Meanwhile, back in Antarctica, Wells and Kirby were analyzing Prophet's condition, while Wells told Kirby about the New Men, who could fix Prophet's genetic structure. Kirby traveled through a portal to the New Men HQ in Seattle and kidnapped Bootleg to use her Nu-Gene for Prophet. In Proctor's lab, the New Men made plans to rescue Bootleg in Antarctica. The New Men arrived outside of Wells' laboratory in Antarctica and began an attack, while the process with Prophet and Bootleg was a success. However, Prophet demanded to know how Wells created him. Wells told Prophet that Omen had ordered him to do so, but after learning that Wells planned to betray him, Omen programmed Prophet to kill the scientist. Then, Wells told Prophet that he used the Bible to give the latter a sense of right and wrong and bring him back from the dead every time after sending him into the past. Kirby mentioned that the process may have given Prophet new powers, as the New Men stormed the laboratory and attacked. After Bootleg explained what had happened, she left along with the other New Men.
